Meet The Owner
Becky Blake, Neurodevelomental Specialist, worked in public and private schools for 15+ years typical kids and kids with autism, language / motor delays; sensory processing, learning and attention problems.

Her business, Baby Power Forever Kids, incorporates HANDLE® activities, Gentle Enhancement(tm) and other curricula in parent /child enrichment & preschool classes.

She's a Certified Parent Educator and HANDLE Screener working on an MA in Education and has degrees in Human Service, Child Development, Early Childhood and Special Education. She has taken 100's of classes, courses, seminars as well as talked to many specialists to learn the connections she has made to create such a powerful, life changing program.

She bought Baby Power Forever Kids to offer her approach to families in a context that validates the distinctions of HANDLE and other applications of her understanding of neuroscientific and developmental principles and fun.

She has childre; one bi-polar, another Asperger's and one with sensory sensitivities.

In response to the increased incidence of Autism and the recent attention of Early Intervention, Thrive to Five and No Child Left Behind, Becky Blake, Nuerodevelopmental Specialist and proud new owner of Baby Power Forever Kids offers expertise in Autism, Child Development, organized movement, how we learn, and the Holistic Approach to NeuroDevelopment and Learning Efficiency (HANDLE®) with a program that works on the premise that all behavior is communication, getting to the core issues (not just labels) that has helped many children with Autism, sensory processing issues, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD and other neurodevelopment disorders.

Baby Power Forever Kids provides progressive, developmentally appropriate exercise and musical parent/child enrichment play programs carefully designed to build confidence and to promote child development, parent/child communication and bonding.

Ready to Learn Preschool and Super Kids Programs are very unique. They apply owner Becky Blake's experience and expertise, to assure that all enrolled students will learn the skills prerequisite to learn to read, write, do math, be social, self regulate behavior - all while having fun.

The Baby Power programs, the first phase of child development, offers parent interactive classes for children aged 3 months to 3 years . Graduates learn to follow direction as they develop a more outgoing personality, are more adjusted toward interaction with others, thus paving the way for the development of life long friendships and excellent learning behavioral skills.

The Super Kids (3yrs-8yrs) programs are designed to develop the second phase in a child's development. Arts and crafts, cooking, theme classes, gym play and science experiments - combined to cultivate fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and self expression while using creativity to have FUN.

Becky uses several approaches, but the foundation of her work is HANDLE® which includes proper nutrition, organized movement and Gentle Enhancement®. She pulls from several time proven curricula that assures all children can learn to read, write and do math.

Baby Power Forever Kids offers child/parent enrichment classes for children 3 months to 6 years old, several preschool programs, tutoring, HANDLE screenings for children aged 5 and up with mild to moderate learning challenges (not autism spectrum disorders), weekly parent information evenings and birthday parties.

Her newest adventure is to get this MUCH NEEDED information out to the world. She has written and will soon publish several books and travels around the world training others, working with children with special needs and sharing all she knows.
